Examine all of your options and always go with the choice that will help you succeed the most in life. When picking a college, look at the work load and credibility and how many students find jobs once they graduate from that school. When in college, put work ahead of play and do the best that you possibily can to finish it in a timely manner.

The goal in finding the right college is to ultimately pray about it and seek where God wants you to be. When searching for a college I recommend finding somewhere that is spiritually adamant and academically imposing. When someone finds a school that is Christ-centered and delivers dynamic academics that will fulfill your career goals; there is only room for success. One question that I would ask incoming freshman is: ?If you knew you wouldn?t fail at something what would you do?? In order to make your college experience worthwhile you must be doing a major that challenges you and that you have a sincere passion for. Always remember that you can truly do anything, if you never quit. While attending college always do your best to get involved in something that allows you to make encouraging friends that want to see you succeed. My last suggestions would be to keep God in the forefront of your life and always find some time in your day to get away from the crowd and to have one on one time with the One who loves you passionately.

To all the kids out there that are following in my footsteps every year, looking for and entering a college, these will be some of the most exciting, and sometimes scary, times of your life. These are the words of advice that I have for you:
1. You don't have to go to an Ivy League school to be a success in life. Schools are as diverse as people, so find one that fits who you are. It doesn't matter what anyone tells you, if you don't like the environment you're in then you won't succeed there.
2. Take advantage of every positive opportunity you have.
3. Make friends for life.
4. Challenge yourself to become the person you want to be.
5. Make a difference in someone else's life.
6. Study and do your best academically.
7. Take time to enjoy simple pleasures.
8. If you don't have a hobby, get one, and then share it with other people.
9. Allow others to help you.
10. Find your passion in life. What is going to drive you for the next 20, 30, 40, or 50 years?

Basically if you are looking for a Great school that will help you advance in religion, education, athletics, and socialization then Liberty University is the school for you. Also dont let your kids pick a party school for one they are gonna watse alot of time and regret alot of decisions. The best thing for a future college student should find out what they really want to do in their future and pick a school that best meets thier criteria while alos having great academic standings and prices.

I think it's important for the student to know what they want to do and not to be picking a school or major based on their parents' dreams/wishes. If they know what they want to study they're more likely to stay in school and do better in their classes. Also, just because Freshman year is normally a piece of cake does not mean that you can slack and fail. Take the time to do well in the easy classes and when you get to your major classes, if you don't do as well, then your GPA won't drop too dramatically. Research available activities, resources, etc and choose something new and interesting to explore while you're in college. This will be one of the best times of your life if you let it be. Make friends, reach out, study hard and have fun. Also, one more thing, try to avoid student loans if possible. You should search for scholarships and grants and get a job in order to avoid having tens of thousands in debt when you graduate.

The best advice that I can give to students is to choose the college that best fits you. They shouldn't choose a college based on statistics, or their influences by their parents or friends, but how they feel about theirs and what they want to accomplish. More importantly, are the goals they set for themselves are same for the college they are choosing. When a student does find the right college, they should take every opportunity that comes around. They should apply for an internship tonot only help them seek employment, but also meet new people from diverse backgrouds.

I would tell parents and students that it is important that you visit the school you are considering and spend the night in a dorm. Ask the students you are staying with important questions like "Is this a suitcase college?" and "Are there a lot of ways to get involved?". Also look up the rate of job placement after graduation. Make sure that the academics are good and make sure that it is a place where you will be comfortable living for the next 4 years of your/your child's life. Remember, most of your future self will be shaped while you are in college. Choose wisely a place that will offer you the most learning experiences and that offers an environment you will be comfortable learning in. Deciding what college to go to is one of the most important decisions a student can make, and you should be as imformed as possible. In addition the most important thing to do in college is to get active immediately. Getting involved will make the college experience so much more fun through the lifelong friends that you make and the networking you will do. But do not ever forget your studies!

In order to find the right college the most important thing a parent or student can do is visit the college. One must do more than take a tour of the campus but must engage ones self in what each school has to offer. Talk to students and professors, hear what they have to say about their experience, ask them questions. One may also wish to tour the city or town and find out if it is possible to sit in on a class.
In order to make the most of ones college experience, students must remember that they are students before anything else. The biggest difference between high school and college is that no one pushes you to do the work, you must self-motivate yourself. Do not get behind on work and get enough sleep. Keep in mind that there is always more a person can do or be involved in than possible.

I would advise students or parents to find a college that enforces the values that are important to you. Also, look into the success rate of graduates (my school has a very high success rate) with passing tests to enter the field they have chosen. Thirdly, check to see if campus life is what you would desire for yourself or your child. Look at living accomodations and extracurricular activities, but make sure that the college will teach you, and teach you well, what you need to know in order to have a successful career and a successful future.

In order to find the right school and get the most rewarding college experience, I believe there are numerous things parents and students alike should look for. First of all, make sure it is a place you as a student could see yourself staying your whole college career. You need to make sure that you are comfortable there and the environment genuinely feels like you are home. Parents must also make sure that they feel welcome visiting their child here. If you as a parent would not be comfortable visiting your child during the school year, there might be an underlying reason that in turn could make the whole family unhappy. Finally students and parents alike need to do their research. They need to make sure that the school of choice supports and upholds their moral standards and beliefs, otherwise they child may find himself/herself uncomfortable there when all the excitement of college settles down.
