University of Central Florida Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about University of Central Florida? Why?

Lauren

My school is in Orlando, which is not very pedestrian friendly; on campus there is plety of room to ride bikes, skateboards, walk, etc, but off-campus is not safe without a car.

Isabella

I would say parking at the Main Campus is very hectic and takes up a lot of time. I am taking classes at a Regional Campus to avoid this problem.

Everything here is pretty great! I cant really complain about anything. I got into the college I have always wanted too! Its a pretty big campus and its actually bigger than my home town if you can believe that. But if I had to choose something I would probably choose the fact that there is no lap pool to use at the school.

The worst part of UCF is the on-campus Housing. The dorms resemble jail cells and you pay way too much for what you receive, which is basically a headache. Maintenace never fixes problems in a timely manner and the staff is constantly rude to students. They don't care about your well-being, all they care about is taking your money. The staff at UCF will make you run around in circles and will never solve any of your issues. I would not recommend living on-campus to any student.

Mink

The worse thing about UCF is the high price of housing.

Kimberly

No current complaints.

PARKING, it's an absolute nightmare, and on game days if you plan on studying on campus- forget it.,the school is no longer an educational institution it becomes a one big drinking game with a crappy football team.

Nellie

I think every school has its pros and cons and in regards to UCF I would have to say that the worst thing has become testing at the designated Testing Labs which I believe are too small considering the significant large population of our school. Most professors have adopted the Testing Lab as the main test taking source thus it is constantly full and students sometimes have difficulty taking their tests on time.

Shella

The parking situation at UCF is somewhat unbelievable and disheartening at times, especially during final exams.

The worst thing, is truly not a bad thing for most. But because of the fact that I work a full-time job I am only able to take night classes which limits my ability to participate in normal daytime activities. Therefore, the college experience is severely limited due to this fact.
