University of Central Florida Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about University of Central Florida? Why?

Danielle

It is overpopulated.

Ebony

They do not offer a good variety of scholarships, and their finacial aid office is not very helpful.

Natalie

It's too big.

Rita

I feel the worst thing about my school is that there aren't enough things open twenty four hours or even late into the night such as coffee shops and restaurants. In fact there is nothing open twenty hours on my campus!

Marissa

Personally, I would say the worst thing about the University of Central Florida is the amount of students enrolled at the college. This provides a less intimate learning environment and, contrary to my original belief, makes it harder to meet people on campus. When you are going to school with 50,000 other students it is easy to end up as just another face in the crowd of students of a lecture hall or library. It is not unusual to feel alone when advisors and tutors are helping hundreds of students at a time.

Shamira

The worst thing about my school would have to be parking. Depending on the time of day your classes are at, parking is very hard to find.

David

Not so much the school, but the kids attending. They aren't focused on enough on learning.

John

The worst thing about my school are the long lines for lunch. There really is nothing bad to say about my school.

Trent

I can't really say anything negative about my experience at UCF. Sometime the sheer size of the University is an inconvenience, but the staff and faculty do try and make the processes as easy as possible.

Daniel

I have completed two years at the local Community College ( Valencia Community College) and will be attending UCF for the Spring semester. I could say that Valencia College was a great experience and never had a lot problems, as a freshman to finishing as a sophmore. Really can't say I found anything bad, although the transition from Valencia College to UCF was not as smooth as the advisors said in the beginning of the year. I say this because Valencia held my transcripts to long to send electronically, and UCF took long to process them.
