What are the academics like at your school?
Academics are tough, depending on the class and level you take. During midterms and finals, students take up all the spots in the learning center and study lounges. However, people always make time with their organizations and going out, so the curriculum is definitely doable.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
The food is TO DIE FOR. Bolton is one of a kind, but the other three are top-notch too. I never get bored. I'm genuinely going to miss being on meal-plan and when I get in an apartment of my own, I might go back on meal-plan and save myself the trouble of shopping and cooking for myself. It's too good not to pass up!
Also, everyone is so in love with the University of Georgia. "There is no tradition more worthy of envy. No institution worthy of such loyalty as the University of Georgia."

Partyers? Frat boys and sorority girls? Very accurate. There's lots of drinking downtown at bars, and there's a big Greek society in Athens, but it's not limited to just those types of people.

Tell us about the sports scene on campus.
The sports scene is HUGE at the University of Georgia. If you don't bleed red and black, go home!
Football is an epic experience here. Have fun in Sanford Stadium with nearly 93,000 of your fellow fans and watch the Bulldogs play. Gooooooooooo DAWGS! Everyone loves saturdays. It is certainly an awesome experience every Fall semester.
Basketball is also an awesome sport to watch, whether it be the Men's team or the LadyDawgs. Stegemann Coliseum was just renovated and it is a sweet facility.
Other sports that are fun to watch but are less popular: volleyball, tennis, swim-team, and don't forget the Gym Dogs (gymnastics)!

What are your classes like?
This semester, my classes really weren't that difficult. I thought my AP classes in high school were a lot harder. I took English, Spanish, Math Modeling, Geography, and a seminar on the role of sex in advertising.
Breaking down each class-
English1102: There was not that much work to do in the class (read a few stories and only wrote 3 essays) but the papers were graded much harder than what I was used to.
Spanish 1101: This class was reallllllly easy. The only downside is that there is a strict attendance policy.
Math 1101: I thought this class was super easy but I've heard of others who thought otherwise. In my class, the quizzes were open note, open book, and open person. The tests were identical to the quizzes but you had to do them without the help of anyone or anything. I never did the homework but still did well in the class.
Geography 1125: This was my hardest class. The content was interesting but there were only 2 tests so it was hard to remember everything when exam time came around.
FYOS Sex in Advertising: This class was extremely interesting and very easy. There were no tests.
