Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Main Campus Top Questions

Is the stereotype of students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Main Campus accurate?

mike

yes

Helen

Yes and no! Yes that Indiana, PA is not the most happening place to be, and no to it being totally boring. The truth is, I feel very comfortable in Indiana, PA and found it the people to be very welcoming and kind. Philadelphia Street is the probably the most "city-like" part of Indiana, PA because of its eclectic shops and places to grab a bite to eat. Another plus to IUP's location is that it is only about an hours drive to Pittsburgh. "I Usually Party" is a popular slogan for the students around campus, but truthfully, what college campus doesn't like to party?! Given that IUP is the largest state school in Pennsylvania, ranking in at approximately 14,000 students, the large student population, perhaps, is what makes people feel that everyone is partying.
