If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, the first thing I would tell myself is to apply for scholarships ealier. When I was a senior at Oxon Hill High School I so focused on passing my classes and having fun, I completely forgot how quickly the school year was ending . Everytime the opportunity came to apply for a scholarship I would put it on hold thinking I had all the time in the world to complete them. As my second advise I would tell myself is that fun can wait. I was so concerned about enjoying my senior year to the fullest, I forgot all about the things I needed to do in order to attend college. A wise man once told me, " you can always have fun, it doesn't stop with age". Overall I would just tell myself to focus more on the steps to attend college, and graduating with the lowest amount of money to owe.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself about as a high school senior, I would advice myself to take more college prep courses to prepare me academically for college. I would consider more college visits to different schools, to help make my decision on a college choice. I would work hard on creating a more effective study pattern in order to increase my knowledge and remain more focus. Also, I would learn to save more money so that I would be able to contribute financially to the success of my education.

I would tell myself to first to calm down, there is no bullies popping out from behind trees, nor are there professors that will rip your head off.take your time to think about what school is right for you, but also pheasible for your parents to pay for. Scholarships are out there just take the time to apply for them. Soon you will be an adult, so take the initiative in making your dreams come true, afterall its your life and no one elses.

If I could go back in time, I would first tell myself to work extremely hard in high school to prepare for my first year of college. I would also inform myself of the intensity of my icollege introduction classes. The advice I would give myself: Fully focus on school. College life can be demanding and you must make yourself ready for this transition. Keep your grades up because your college admission is still contingent on your current academics. Finally, I would tell my past self to enjoy life, college is a great opportunity to learn and meet new friends. The transition from high school to college will be fine.

I would tell myself to not stress out, and to have fun. I would tell myself that school is not a punishment, but a great privalege that many don't get the chance to have, so take in all that you can take in from this experience. Learn all you can, study hard, do your absolute best and do not settle for the "I'm just going to get by attitude". Don't be afraid to speak up and ask questions, that's how you learn, so don't be afraid to raise your hand if you don't understand something. Remember to listen closely to instructions and follow them.

I would tell myself to go with Bowie. I would encourage my younger self to look past the grime and the grit and to get over the normal "freshman" jitters and dive in to the culture. I would tell myself that I would meet professors who have my best interest at heart who would be dedicated to helping me reach my goal as a writer. I would reassure myself that the Bible study on campus would provide sure footing for me. Overall, I would tell myself that I was making the right choice... Bowie State University is the place to leave my legacy.

College is an exciting place with lots of freedom, freedom that will allow you to stray from the teachings that has enabled you to get where you are; freedom to use your time wisely or foolishly. High school is very important; especially your senior year because it is here that you perfect the skills that will carry you through to your freshman year of college and beyond. College is very costly so use your time to get scholarships, grants and other money to offset tuition and other costs. Do your very best in classes because many scholarships are offered at graduation if your GPA is high enough. A four-year College education can leave you in debt unless you use the resources given to you. Realize things will change and adjustments must be made. You will have to work for everything you want, no more late assignments. Everything runs on schedule and if you fall behind schedule you fall behind for the semester. In high school, practice good study and organization skills. You have to know how to balance what is important with fun activities and get ready to have the most fun you will ever have in your life.

Angelita study hard its not easy out there. Its really hard to get a job with no education and with this economy. And with a minimum wage salary your not able to pay you cell phone bill, pay the bill for the house, car payment and be able to go out. Its not possible. Out there in the reel world its way different, some people don?t care about you. You struggle to pay you own things and find a way to pay because they don?t care the will cut everything out. And all those bills you have its not going to be possible to pay for collage Angelita study work hard to do your best think about your future.

"Always dream!!" would have been the advice that I would have told myself as a high school senior. Dreaming is very important because without dreams you wouldn't have passion. Without passion there are no desires and with no desires you will never be driven. Dreaming is hard because a lot of us become afraid of what our parents, friends, family, and etc may think. However, those people don't know what's best for you! The only person that will know what's best for you is yourself. You know the desires of your heart and you know what you're striving for. As a person who's always been driven by children. Working with children and being around children gave me the passion to become a teacher. There are individuals that disagrees with my dream, and they say that "You're not going to make any money". Even though those individuals disagrees with my dream it doesn't mean that I can not accomplish it. I just have to fight and work hard until I see my dream come true. So I say to you never give up on your dream until you see it come to pass.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself in high school I would let me know that there is a very big differnce between high school and college. Some of the things you learn in high school are needed for in college. Classes like English and Math you need these classes and not everything they are teaching they are teaching you for nothing. You really need that information The reason why you will be able to write good papers is because of your English teachers. Also college math is difficult so try and pay exta attention. Also dont think beause you took a classin high school it will be a piece of cake because it isn't. The best advice I can give myself is to read, take notes, pay attention, and do work on time. Because college isn't all about school there is fun there too, but you must make sure that your ahead of the game in order to have as much fun as you want.
