I think Western Technical College is a great college to attend as staff is mainly concerned about helping students succeed. I have noticed that almost all of my instructors are willing to work with me in getting my work done, and understanding that people have lives outside of class.

Western is fucking trash. What are these bogus questions this tard site says? All of them somehow portray this college as good. Not a single bad option for any of them. Because all of them are bad. The professors are terrible. Any of them that are good are just for throwaway classes. All the trash teachers in the IT programs sit on their ass and don't teach anything. The scholarships are fake as fuck. Can't get those if you're not ->literally any minority ever because it's all based on characteristics that are unchangeable that you were born with and not about anything you've ever achieved in your life<- Waste of money. No wonder their dropout rate is abysmal.

Kiley - 09/13/2019

Western is a very safe and clean environment. It is open to all ages with no judgment. I love attending this school! The professors are so helpful and will respond to you as fast as they can. Overall it is a very good school. I love that it isn't huge because it is easy ans fast to get around without getting lost. I would highly recommend going here.

I really like it here! I do live on campus and the dorms are incredible. We do live in a large town close to two other colleges so there is always something to do here. The people are really nice, and it's very easy to make friends. The college classes are almost all hands-on and really easy to understand. The teachers are also willing to work one on one with you if you are behind. All the teachers want is for you to succeed whether that means helping you one on one or offering extra credit.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would of made sure to have gone to college and earned s degree in something. Even though I was not sure what I actually wanted to do. I was marrired right out of high school. Had 8 children, and was divorced 20 years later. I hade no job skills and just a high school dipolama. I could not support my family on the jobs I was able to get. I decided to go back to school at age 43. It was the best decision I have ever made. At times it is so hard to juggle all the stuff I have to do being a single mother. But school has given me back my seif esstem and I can't wait to get my degree. Through all of this my children have all supported me. They have learned to like mc and cheese and frozen pizzas because mom is doing school. In the end it will all be so worth it. Wath out world here I come.

  3. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I consider the worst thing about my school is the lack of focus on sustainability. It is extremely important to the benefit of our planet, our economy and ourselves to keep sustainable practices within our facilities as well as teaching our students to be sustainable. While we are trying at Western, I believe it is something we struggle with here.
