What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
Attending college does help individuals further their education in order to find a valuable career for the future. My future while in being a high school senior once again was myself graduating from a 4 year college with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. After the graduation I would attend graduate school to recieve my Master's in Education in becoming a Spanish teacher. Once the school is completed, I will want a family and enjoy my career to the point I will love to be involved with the school and maybe become a soccer coach for the middle school. All of these points within my goals force me to do well every step I take with my education. I need to do well with everything I do as well as extracurricular activities to help in having a variety of aspects within my resume for a job. Therefore, everyday I wake up I will want to succeed and push in succeeding so that my goals come true.

What's unique about your campus?
I think that the best thing about my school is the size. Because there are only about 2500 undergraduates it is easy to feel important on campus and not swallowed up in the mass of students. Each student is seen as an individual with certain needs and desries and the professors and faculty at my school see that. The professors are always willing to help and prove to you that you matter and you are not just another face in the crowd.

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?
Before I enter my freshmen year of college I wish to know how enduring my classes will be. Knowing how much the homework will weigh on my shoulders will prepare me to endure the weight, as of now I am expecting the worst. I also wish to know the amount of time I'd be working for money to balance out the cost of college while balancing my time to fit in homework time.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The most frustrating thing about my school is the distance between the main part of campus and the gym. Right now this is very stressful because I have a busy schedule and by the time I've walked to the gym, I've wasted about 10 minutes. Also in the freezing cold weather of the winter it becomes even more frustrating.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I talk about my courses and the professors. Also including my close friends here at school whom actually I believe will be friends for life. I studied abroad one semester, so I also talked about how easy it was to study abroad and my advisor provided assistance with the application process of that. The on campus housing is very comfortable, easy to socialize with others, and preferred rather than off campus housing.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
If you can afford to go to this school and are admitted to a better one - go there. This law school is over-priced, over-valued, and offers little (if anything) in the way of helping you transition from passing the bar to actually being a lawyer. On the other hand, if you like being on your own, figuring things out for yourself, or just plain know someone to help you get that first lawyering job, then this might be the place for you. If I had to do it all over again - well, I wouldn't.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
When you think of WNEC's School of Law, the first thing that comes to mind is .... well, that's the problem. This is a school that doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. Other law schools in the same tier and of similar student bodies have a vision, a mission, a "view" (for lack of a better word). WNEC SoL does not.

What are the academics like at your school?
Generally, the faculty are very knowledgeable, approachable, and well-intentioned. Like anywhere else, there are those who should be poster children for the anti-tenure movement. Many just need to go at this point in their careers, as they are unable or unwilling to embrace alternative views on subjects.
Students are competitive, but do not seem to be ruthless. Generally, this is a much more collegial atmosphere than you will find at other law schools.

What are the most popular student activities/groups?
Because of the college's location - in the middle of one of Massachusetts most-depressed, violent, and drug-charged cities - social life consists of drinking and ... well, drinking. Stay out of downtown. Of course, downtown is the only place where there is anything to do, dangerous as it is.
