Western New England University Top Questions

What's unique about your campus?

Carolyne

The best thing is how close the faculty members are with students. They provide knowledge, they encourage, and they are easy to approach for advice.

Jaquan

The best thing about attending WNEU is the great people you will meet along the way. In the one year I attended the University, I've met many people that I would consider myself to be closer to than a lot of the people that I've known since my childhood. Since the campus is so small, there are many opportunities to bond and become close with your fellow students. I thought it was just something cheesy that they said on tours, but it turned out to be true.

James

The best part of my school would have to be the small and personable campus. The atmosphere the smaller campus gives me is inviting and friendly and was a huge part in my decision to attend the university.

Krista

Athletic Experience. I met a lot of good people and learned how to manage my time.

Amy

I think that the best thing about my school is the size. Because there are only about 2500 undergraduates it is easy to feel important on campus and not swallowed up in the mass of students. Each student is seen as an individual with certain needs and desries and the professors and faculty at my school see that. The professors are always willing to help and prove to you that you matter and you are not just another face in the crowd.

Rachel

I love the small class sizes, the studnet to professor ratio is small, letting you get no know your professors. I feel like it makes learning a little easier and the professors more approachable.

Sarah

I like that it is small and that everyone is friendly.

Christopher

The small class sizes with teachers who want to see you learn. And in hard subjects, the ease of finding help.

Cait

The amount of clubs and organizations available for students.

Megan

The community. There is a wide enough range of students to have diversity, but everyone works together to make a really strong student community with active groups, both social and academic.
