What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could go back and give myself advice for my future college career I would have told myself that just going to class doesn't cut it. In order to thrive in a university setting you have to balance your priorities, friends, and other obligations. Time management is immensely helpful when you incorporate it into your daily schedule. Never be afaraid to talk in class or ask for help. I wish I had known that earlier on because you can't learn when your only hearing directly from the professor. Student input is essential. Don't be afraid to take your learning to the next level and use your teachers to network into your desired career field. After all your paying for the knowledge and instruction you recieve here.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
One of the most frustrating things about college is the student living. Although living on campus has provided me with many amazing experiences, learning to adapt to the extremely new environment is sometimes agravating. In my first semester at college I often became frustrated with the noise level in the dorms and sometimes found it hard to concentrate on homework and studying. The most frustrating thing for me in my first semester at collge was learnig to adapt to the new college atmosphere so that I could get still get the necessary school wok done while living in the dorms.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
For a Wisconsin School I would say it is ranked in academics 3,from Madison number 1, Lacrosse 2. Whitewater does have certain programs that give the University itself a overall positive gist that shouldn't be in place. Most likely if you talk to someone out of state, the would ask you back, if its in the middle of South Dakota?

What are the most popular student activities/groups?
Don't bother with the activities, their all losers that probabaly will talk to their mom's about you every night before they get tucked into their dorm beds.
The social life is really a hit or miss, i don't like calling WW a suitcase college but in reality it is. They definately good house parties, but remember it is a small town with a college smack dab in it. "haters" aka the UW-Whitewater Police Dep. so whack, we the students make their nights and early days.
comments: all the hot girls you see walking around during the day, hibernate in their living quarters for the weekends, for every 10 guys, you will be lucky if there is 4 girls, yeahhhhh......
