University of North Texas Top Questions

I wish I had been aware of all the expenses before I came to this school. I never thought it would be this hard to get all the money that is needed in order to cover up education, housing and a decent meal plan.

I wish I had known some of the students that attend the school before I came to this school. It is a big campus, and people are friendly and nice but it is a lot better when you can see a familar face around campus. It eases the transition.

How small it was, how easy it is to make friends, and where all the organizations were.

I wish that I had known how very liberal this school was. I'm a fairly conservative person by nature and coming to UNT was a bit of a shock. It was a big eye-opener - the first Halloween I was there I saw a man going to class in a pink tutu and white tights. People would never have done that back at home and that, more than anything, clued me in to how different UNT was going to be.
