I am in the sorority Alpha Phi. I also love the athletic events, such as football and hockey games. I have never been to a theater or guest speaker event. I met my closest friends from Alpha Phi.

I'm a member of Chi Omega, a sorority on campus so greek life is very important to me. Prior to joining I did not like UNH at all, I couldn't find my niche....but now I love UNH! People generally go out thurs-sat, maybe taking a night off. For 21+ Tuesdays are also big if you dont have early class on wednesday. On saturday if I don't want to drink, which is often, I like to go out to dinner in Portsmouth, go see a movie, or mayeb just stay in with friends and get ice cream!

Go GREEK!

I am involved in a sorority on campus. I wouldn't necessarily call it a popular organization as most students who aren't involved in the Greek community have a negative stereotype towards it. I met all of my closest friends through this as joining a chapter opens many doors to meet new people.

I am involved in my sorority Alpha Chi Omega. And it is the best thing ever. We do many philanthropies that raise a great deal of money for charities. Many people on campus hate us and we are trying very hard to make that more of a positive image. Hockey is a very important athletic event here and it usually gets sold out. We do unfortunately have too many outside people that come and buy tickets and take up valuable student space but everyone loves going to games.

Greek Life is growing and doing great things for the UNH community.

I am involved in Greek Life at UNH, I am a sister of Chi Omega and no matter what other people say I think that it is a great type of organization to be in. People who are not in one and choose to look negatively on Greek Life, simply do not see or realize that there is a lot more to what we do than what they hear and choose to believe. It is a great way to get involved with the campus, make friends and also learn to balance and organize for your future. We have weekly meetings to attend and functions to go to and put on. It makes for a hectic but fun schedule.

I love the activities that I get to do with the girls in my sorority. It's awesome to get around Durham and do things, and to help other community groups. I also really like the social life that comes attached to being part of the Greek community. For me, this doesnt mean the partying and drinking (which we don't do as much of as people seem to think) but more the moment when you walk into class on the first day and see a friendly face, or a group of people from otehr houses that welcome you to sit with them. It's the same way all across campus -- it's great being part of a huge community and still being about to be individual.

I'm a member of Chi Omega Sorority, and it is awesome! I really wanted to get involved with an organization upon my arrival at college and Chi O really met my standards. I love the amount of time we put into supporting different campus activities and philanthropies, as well as the number of community service we do. I am involved a lot more than I ever would be if i didn't join, and have met some amazing girls!
