I think that athletics are probably the most popular organizations on campus, tied closely with Greek life. The successes of the football and hockey programs have certainly encouraged the student body to focus greatly on athletics and support the UNH Wildcats.

There is always something going on entertainment wise. There are sports events, CAB events, comedians, concerts, lectures, etc. Greek life makes up about 8{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the campus. There are parties every weekend to go to, Thursday-Sunday. Living in dorms, some people keep their doors open and others don't. It depends what hall you are in. The smaller dorms seem to be more into the open door thing. The only time I go off campus is to go to the mall or out to eat. People go to Portsmouth and Boston sometimes. Most of my friends are people who live on my floor or people I meet at class. Clubs are a great way to meet people too.

The most popular organizations on campus are sororities and fraternities. We also have a number of popular clubs too.

Club teams seem very popular, but sometimes hard to get information for (women's lacrosse). In stoke, no one leaves their door open, and are not considerate of their neighbors; but Stoke is a good place to be, other than noisy neighbors. UNH has a great variety of guest speakers, and many opportunities to see live music, and theatre. People are passionate about their music and theatre. Dating scene is bad, most guys cheat on their girlfriends. Greek life is wonderful and very important. Greeks have many philanthropy events that are fun and rewarding, and greek speakers are always a good time. Fraternities also hold many of the parties. Off campus is too annoying to get to.

Greek Life is pretty popular. Even if someone is not part of one. They attend some philanthropies and attend social parties on the weekend. I feel like boy's room leave their door open more frequently. I think it may be because they care less about what people think of their room.
I met my closests friends just by living next door to them, I was lucky enough to click with them really well early on.
If I am awake at 2am on a Tuesday I am probably in the lounge with some friends doing hw,but mostly chatting. Or on facebook. Or trying to go to bed.
Some weekends I go out with my friends. Other weekends I go home to see my family and boyfriend. And sometimes I stay on campus and just order some food and go to the movies.

Some of the organizations that seem to be growing in popularity is the Greek system. I joined Alpha Chi Omega in the spring of my sophomore year and there was a decent turn out but it did not even compare to the amount of girls that came through this past fall and spring. I am so pleased with how the word has gotten out that being part of Greek Life is an amazing experience.
I also think sports are gaining popularity, especially football. It does make me sad, however, that at one of the last games I attended I had to go in and watch the game by myself because all of my friends wanted to stay in the parking lot and tailgate. I am afraid the only reason football has grown in popularity is because people finally realized it is an excuse to get up early and drink outside on a nice day.
I met my closest friends through nursing. We all have been going through the same stressors for the past four years and at one point last year it clicked that we all have so much in common. I now live with three other nursing majors and we can relate to each other so well because we understand the importance of studying but also being about to go out and have fun every now and then.
If I'm awake at 2am on a Tuesday I'm probably just going to bed from being out at the bar. The other option is that I'm up studying or worried that I'm not going to get any sleep that night because I have to get up at 5am on Wednesday for clinical.
People in my major probably party once a week. I feel as though other people try to either go out on Tuesdays and Thursdays or on weekend nights.
Last weekend I was working Friday night, Saturday during the day so I went to bed early Saturday night, and then on Sunday I went to the library all day and worked Sunday night.

The sports teams and the GREEK life are big on campus but one is not more popular than another. The different groups and clubs all do anything they want around campus. The students in dorms do leave their dorms because there is not much to do in the dorms and they can get boring. There are a lot of people to meet on campus so the dating scene would be pretty open. People seem to party whenever they want during the week. For most students the party starts on Thursday, but for others a lot of the big parties are on Fridays and smaller parties again on Saturdays. There is a lot of stuff at the MUB that doesnt involve drinking like a minimovie theater and different events. Also there is a mall near by or it can be easy to get to portsmouth or boston or up North if your from maine and want to go home. Last weekend I went to parties on Friday and Saturday nights with my friends.

Greeks are the most popular groups on campus I think. Also I hear a lot of people discuss the outing club. I am involved with the Chi Omega sorority and Greek Intervarsity. Greek Intervarsity is a group on campus that gives students and opportunity to explore the idea of who God is and how he can be involved with a college students life. I think there are alot of students who date on campus. I also think there a lot of students who have long distance relationships too. There are things to do that do not involve drinking such as going to the movies, going home, going bowling. I go to the gym off campus, and work off campus, other than that I stay here all the time.

Students in dorms used to leave their doors open in the beginning of the year and as the year progressed, doors would be closed. I gave myself a year without being in a sorority and made those great friends, and then I decided to join a sorority, I made better friends. Not only do you get to meet great girls in your house, but you also get to expand and meet others in both sororities and frats.
Andy
In most dorms, the doors are usually open, cracked, or at least unlocked. The hockey games are really popular and next on the list are the football games. Dating scene is alright, lotta good guys, but there are also a lot of scumbags. I have found that I dont like many of the girls here, but then again, I do have about 20 awesome girl-friends. The ratio is good for guys (60{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} girls, 40{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} guys.) I hope I'm not awake on Tuesday, if I am, I'm probably getting back from a bar.
