I love the home -town feel. The students are happy and engaged. The classes offered are interesting and diverse. I think the Basketball team with Coach Weiberg will be fun to watch also. There seems to be several opportunities on campus and off campus for employment. SWOSU is one of my top colleges I am looking to apply.

Brittany - 05/08/2024

It is not a bad school. The parking situation is awful. The campus is fairly inaccessible for people in wheelchairs or who have difficulty walking. Most buildings are spread out so there is quite a walk between classes. Weatherford is a small, safe town though. Large police presence. The only big store in town is WalMart but Interstate 40 runs through town for easier access to larger towns.

College has been such an amazing experience for me. One of the things that really stands out is how safe I feel on campus. It's such a relief knowing that I can focus on my studies and enjoy college life without constantly worrying about my well-being. Another awesome thing about my college is its size. It's not too big, which means I can actually get to know people on a more personal level. It's like being part of a tight-knit community where everyone knows each other. I've made some incredible friends and had some amazing conversations with classmates and even professors. Being in a smaller college has its perks for sure. It's easier to find my way around, and I never feel lost in the crowd. The smaller class sizes mean I get more individual attention from my professors, which has been super helpful. I feel like I'm really part of something special, you know? Overall, I couldn't be happier with my college choice. It's safe, it's small enough to foster genuine connections, and it's giving me an incredible college experience. If you want to chat about anything else or have more questions, just let me know!

  12. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

I, again, believe that finances are what keep me worried and frustrated. It is very difficult to find a job in a small town and the cost and time consuming college hinders one from obtaining an occupation and a full bank account. It's all just so expensive.

  13. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about the school I attended as an undergraduate were small class sizes and a small campus. Professors were readily accessible and it was easy to get any help I needed in my work.
