Rogers State University is a good fit for students looking for a caring, small family atmosphere with reasonable tuition. It is known for small class sizes and strong academic programs, personalized education-actually ideal for those wanting to excel in a focused environment.

Rogers State felt like home to me. I always found class sizes to be manageable and professors to be approachable. More than a few professors frequently go above and beyond for their students to ensure their success in and out of the classroom. The facilities are hit or miss. Some buildings have been replaced recently, others have been around since literally 1909. The campus itself is beautiful. There is a great nature reserve to get out and get fresh air. Overall, RSU has been a positive experience that I recommend frequently to others.

Kara - 08/30/2023

Rogers State University has been very good to me over the last year. It has taught me multiple things and given me a reason to pursue more school and continue to get a doctorate degree. I appreciate the openness of its staff and community and have always felt I could truly express myself there. I am forever grateful for the experience I shared on campus.

Sarah - 07/10/2023

Rogers State University has many pros and cons, but I think the pros win out. One of my favorite parts about the university is the nature reserve. There are trails on a special part of the campus, close to housing and classes, that allow students and the community to escape into the world's natural beauty. From running to photography, it's a great place to spend spare time. Additionally, I love the library. There are many individual study rooms and helpful staff. It's easy to get work done. As for academics, the classes usually have less than thirty students, so it's easy to form relationships with peers and professors. Although the honors program is a great scholarship opportunity, beware of the time commitment. From volunteer hours to overextending yourself on reading and writing, think carefully about what you want to get out of your college experience. It wasn't easy for me to read three books a week and be married. The campus also has a great ministry presence and job opportunities. I enjoyed being a peer mentor and writing center tutor. The food won't knock you off your feet, but it also won't put you in the hospital. I recommend looking into this university if you want an affordable, small campus path to a degree.
