What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I realized this school was the perfect fit for me when I visited the College in December 2009. Not only did I receive a campus tour, I met the softball coach as well as some of the team, along with meeting and having a conversation with the college President, Dr. George C. Bradley. I was thoroughly impressed and I knew this is the institute for me. Pain College has been in existence since 1882; the campus is a not large and overwhelming. It is just the right size. The college is a church-related private institution, with the mission to provide a liberal arts education of the highest quality that emphasizes academic excellence, ethical and spiritual values, social responsibility, and personal development to prepare men and women for positions of leadership and service in the African American community, the nation, and the world. It is an hour and half drive from my hometown of Lithonia, Georgia. I have met a lot of people who have assisted me and made my college experience worthwhile. My lifelong fondness for animals has led me to choose the field of veterinary services as the career I would like to pursue.

When i was Freshman at Paine and had the time to go out all i would brag about was the parties to my friends , and tell them how much fun they were and the new faces i met , and how it was great to get away from campus drama and school work and take your mind away from things that clouded it at times ! the Parties at school then were the best.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
There isn't enough Clubs and more electives provided ! we have more disputes and problems inthenews rather than hearing something good about our campus. The school spirit is there , but half haertedly ! i feel as though if they had more events geared to each and every person more students would sit around less and get more involved ! we dont offer much and that's the main problem that certainly needs fixing !

What's unique about your campus?
In my opinion, the best thing about Paine College are the teaches and the professors. I can honestly say that most of them are willing to work with you and push you to do better. They never want to fail you, and they really try to give you alot of opprotunities to do well in the class. Also, they are always in their offices so if you need any help they are always there for you. I am not really a big fan of Paine College but i do like their professors.
