It is great as an online school for getting credits done. I plan on transferring to a four-year university. Some professors have severe communication issues, however. The school as a whole is good. I can not speak about the in-person experience. However, the testing centers are nice with friendly staff.

Murray State College is a great beginning to the college life. It gives off a home feeling. Murray is a smaller campus so it is very easy to get to know new people if not everyone. With it being a smaller school, it provides more one on one with the professors and tutors. The staff is friendly and really shows that they want the students to succeed. Murray State College also shows that they care for every student. They made adjustments during this pandemic to ensure as much safety as they can while also giving us the best experience. I am very thankful I chose to be an Aggie!

Murray State is my first college to attend, but I can easily say it is my home away from home. I have met my lifelong friends here and will forever cherish the memories I have made. Since it is a Junior College it is quite small, but you will always feel the comforting feeling of home by knowing mostly everyone you come across. I would highly recommend Murray State to anyone wanting an easier start to college. You automatically feel at home with your three roommates, who you share a living room and two bathrooms with. If you are looking for a small, safe place to continue your learning then Murray State is the place for you!

Murray State College is a wonderful small community college to get started on a big college career ahead of you when going off to a four year college afterwards. You get plenty of credit hours that will transfer where you decide on going which also saves you the time and money by staying close by home. This community college is a great place to go to.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I'm a Vietnamese student and has lived in the US about 3 year, so my high school was in my country, Vietnam. However, I feel so lucky to study in this inviroment because people here have many opportunities to choose a college or university, but not in my country. I cannot forget years in high school with the heaviest pressure to get in universities through the most special and tensional test every year. Students are always in awareness with pressures from family, teachers and society as if when you get fail, you will be out the game and you career seemed to be in the dark. As a good luck, i did not take that test because it had happend in time when I moved to America. Even though I studied hard and always think about my desity after that national test, I has not assured I had 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} confidence to pass it. If I have a chance to talk to myseft as high school senior, I just want to say to him: " don't quit if you fail, there are still many ways for you, but try with all your best and you won't regret about that."

  8. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

How importent it was to do well in college and how it would make me feel to get everything that I dreamed of having. I am going back because no one told me that I would have to have a masters in Psychology to do anything in the work field. Now I find myself going back to get a Nursing degree and use both my degrees to get a job but, I am finding that I have to bring up my GPA because I never realized how much it ment to have a good GPA.
