I'm there just to learn. Just not interesting to making friend there but I don't mind associate with them. I'm more focusing on my education than anything else.

Even thought i haven’t been at GMC for that long, i believe that it is a great school for some not wanting to start off at a 4 year school right away. It’s a great place to get the feel of college academics and get some of the more difficult courses out of the way before transferring giving that the class size usually is smaller so that gives room for more individual attention if needed. Although you don’t get the typical “college experience” at GMC it is still a great where you can go to succeed in anything you want.

Shantanese - 03/01/2019

Georgia military college is very involving, lots of opportunities for free food! Such as Pizza day and Chicken biscuits. I also love the exposure to the volunteer opportunities like Red Cross blood drives. I've cross paths with very great professors who've helped me grow as a person. Any one can explore the campus and a little something new about themselves.

rosalinda - 09/20/2017

Gmc teachers are really helpful at all times. Counselors are also there to help anybody who have questions about anything. They also make sure you take the required classes for your major. Tutoring rooms are also available for students who need help and it's free! chicken biscuits are also given! fun activities!

  4. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Stay focus! Playing around in order to get someone’s attention in class in never worth it. Everyone wants to be the center of attention and that’s fine ever once and again but every day is simply unacceptable for your future life. Listen to what is being said and don’t simply procrastinate the school work for the next day. You could have be done and have move on to another subject maintaining a high GPA in life. No one will give you hand outs in college, no will care if you made a bad grade as them to be cool. Life is a one shot opportunity. Slip up now and you will regret it forever. Trying to keep up with popular people and a high social status will not go far as you meet newer people. Get involve with more after school act ivies and community service as it will look like gold going into college. Just remember to be yourself and always stay in a happy and positive mood.
