I would not want to give myself any advice, really. I grew into my school and learned to love college life, without having any real idea of what it would be like to live on my own, have a roommate I didn't know, and make my own choices about schedules, eating habits, and my social life. I wouldn't give up my process of maturity and self discovery, even if it would be easier to have some help.

The school makes all the difference. You can go to any school and get a degree, but to go to a school that actually cares about you getting into your desired field and actually does everything it can to help you is a very important part. Finding a school that has this feature and is still very accredited as well as small enough that every teach knows your name is very hard to do and yet Beckfield is all of this and more. After going through an online school that my teacher only knew my name because of my email account and not having any help with my job search, I greatly regretted it and now that I have found Beckfield I know that I am going to succeed.
My advice to you my younger self would be to take my advice and to skip on the online school and head straight for Beckfield. Its in both our best interests.

I would first go back to the beginning of my senior year of high school. I would tell my self to get my butt in gear and start looking for scholarships now! Iwould tell myself to save up for any registration fees and tution and housing deposits. Iwould tell myself how to apply for loans, what forms to fill out for school, what to do for the Bright Futures scholarship and what websites to check for scholarships. I would tell myself to take a ACT prep class because I would not be content with a 28. Finally I would tell myself that no matter how hard, I would try for any scholarship or opportunity that I get to earn money for college. Lastly, I would tell myself to file my FAFSA with my dad because he has worse credit than my mother and I would recieve more financial aid.

If I could go back in time and give my high school-self a piece of advice about the transition to college, I would say relax. Transitioning wasn’t hard for me. I joined a sorority and a plethora of clubs. I became very involved and made a lot of friends. My only problem with school became that I am too anxious and worried. In December of last year, I began experiencing anxiety attacks because of finals. I wasn’t quite sure of what they were, so I kept experiencing them. When I came back to school in February I had a small dose of depression as a result of my daily anxiety attacks. I decided to seek help. After eight short weeks of counseling, I was good as new. Now I know what they are and how to control them. I took up surfing to relax and it works beautifully. I wish I could have told myself last to year to calm down and that everything is alright. Stress happens in college and it’s supposed to. Once you know how your body and mind react to stress, you can control it and live a happier college life.

Trust me, i would tell myself to not waste time and continue with my education. I would tell myself to focus on having a degree before having a family. I would tell myself to not let people telling me that i would not make it. i would tell myself to beleive in myself because only me know what i am capable of because wasting twelve years in life is wasting a lifetime. Letting people make me doubt about yourself was a huge turn off. i would tell myself to turn off all energy of negativity and move on to college. I would tell myself to not be afraid and go ask informations at any college about what i need to study because no one would do it for me especially if i am new to a country. Those are the advises that i am following now. I wish what i had accomplised now i had done it 12 years ago, my dream would have been fullfiled. I am on my fourth semester right now in college. I will graduate with my AA Degree in December and transfer to a either FAU, NOVA, or South University for a BSN degree.

I am currently working on two degrees. I will have bachelors in business and associates in Musical Theatre when I finish. If I could go back and talk to high school me I would tell her to get started sooner! I waited a couple years to really pursue what I wanted because it was unconventional. Trying to find something else I enjoyed that was more practical wasted precious years that I could have saved if I had been more disciplined and decisive as I am now.

"JOH! Sign up for scholarships NOW. ANY and ALL of them. Take a higher math class towards the ending of senior year. Practice good study habits and note taking skills NOW! & save up for gas dude, driving is killing me. Plan, plan, plan dude. Have everything planned out the night before so you can just wake up and get going. Further then that, plan what you want to take and who you want to take before the next semester starts. Ratemyprofessor.com is amazing. See a counselor, a good one. One that will help you map out your future so you know your time and money isnt going to waste. Other then that, you're a good student and keep up the good work. Don't stress over anything. God got your back and when you're feeling down remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you."

Hey, hope you are enjoying your senior year. Make sure you really take the time to relax and don't stress so much over the small things. Keep up the good work, and never let go of that drive you have to succeed! You should try to get a job this summer, so you have enough money for you classes. Books are expensive! Take your parent's advice to heart; they only want what's best for you. Definitely go to community college till you know exactly what you want. You know mom is a "coupon clipper" and wants you to make the most of your money. Plan ahead, because waiting to the last minute is way to stressful. Keep yourself focused, but don't take too many classes. Get the simple ones out of the way first, then focus onthe ones that you really want . You should consider joining some of the clubs on campus; be more involved. The better you do in school, the more academic scholarships will be available to you. Make sure the school you transfer to is not only good academically, but look at the faculty too. Make sure it all works for you. :)

Make better grades, don't have kids until you are finish with school, don't get married. Pay attention, make school your most wanted thing to be able to do.

I would tell myself full conceration and focus and to make sure I do the very best by studying hard and doing the best on all assignments. My grades would have to be above average to get into a better situation to reach a college I would like to attend.
The way I use time management would be better than before and not really have a job with a lot of hours. If I needed to take certain tests I could study more hours and make sure I understand everything to ace every test.
