College of the Albemarle is not a perfect college and I love that. The imperfections that are around campus make my experience feel unique to my college. The nursing program is one of the best in the state, even out performing ECU. COA has provided me the ability to stay close to home and be able to achieve my career dreams

Kevin - 11/22/2024

I think that the College of the Albemarle is a really good school. Although it is not a prestige school like some others it is a great starting point for anyone planning on pursuing a bachelors degree in the future or just looking to get their associates.

Bettina - 07/18/2021

Excellent school! It's a fantastic place to start college because it's economical and convenient to businesses. There are numerous campuses in this little town. Professors are wonderful people who genuinely want to see students thrive. The class size is small, which is very convenient.

Allison - 02/12/2020

It is a fairly good school. I do not recommend taking online classes unless you have no other choice. You will not learn as much and the classes will be less effective if you take them online vs face to face. Online isn’t a good choice If you are a auditory learner because you miss out on the whole aspect of having lecture.

College of the Albemarle is a community college in my small town that is perfect for students who do not know what career field they are going into. The extra time really gave me a strong foundation for pharmacy school.
