I am a current dual enrollment student so I see the online side on the campus but I am open to all the resources like a full time student would be. I get regular emails about upcoming events and resources like tutoring. I do enjoy the classes I have taken here and am currently taking. It is a popular college for trade careers and associate degrees. Overall it is a nice campus and the professors teach well.

It's a good basic community college, no frills, no real extras but good for getting your basics done and transferring. The nursing program is very competitive and hard to get into. They do it on a point basis so I would recommend getting your CNA license ahead of time because it gives you extra points.

I think it’s great, I was recommended by my cosmetology high school teacher to go to this schools because they have a great cosmetology program, and so far I agree. The teachers are nice, everywhere I go there is always some activities to do and everyone is so nice and helpful.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could talk to my "high school senior" self, I would recommend to save money. Although Georgia has the HOPE program to help pay for tuition, not much assistance is available for books. College Textbooks are outrageously priced! I would also tell my "high school senior" self to NEVER purchase books from the campus bookstore, and rent textbooks rather than purchase them. Another piece of advice I would offer myself is to never take a quarter/semester off. It is so hard to get back into school once you have taken a hiatus. Just stay full time until you are done.
