What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If I could talk to my "high school senior" self, I would recommend to save money. Although Georgia has the HOPE program to help pay for tuition, not much assistance is available for books. College Textbooks are outrageously priced! I would also tell my "high school senior" self to NEVER purchase books from the campus bookstore, and rent textbooks rather than purchase them. Another piece of advice I would offer myself is to never take a quarter/semester off. It is so hard to get back into school once you have taken a hiatus. Just stay full time until you are done.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
It is very flexible is so many ways. There are multiple programs of study to choose from. Also, Chattahoochee has recently merged with two smaller technical colleges, so now they have multiple campuses to suit the needs of students all over Atlanta and North Georgia. Students also have the option of attending multiple campuses at one time. If a class is not offered at the campus you are acustomed to, you can easily enroll for a class on a different campus.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
My school as of right now is amazing. All the staff are very helpful, and they answer all your questions. Even though it's a community college, it has to be one of the best colleges around. So that being said, I cannot write about anything being frustrating.

Describe how your school looks to someone who's never seen it.
When I first started school at Chattahoochee, I was nervous. There were so many buildings; I thought I would get lost. Gladly, everyone was friendly and the classes weren't too long and too short. The hours were just right. The library is very useful when students are out of class. Chattahoochee has tutoring sessions for students that is struggling on a subject. For instance, they have reading, writing, and math labs available. The tutors are very helpful. The school also provides a student life center, whereas, students can talk to friends and even play ping pong.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
The staff actually care about the students, and they answer all your questions in a very nice way. Many friends of mine attending other schools hate asking questions to their school's staff because it seems as if they don't want to answer their questions. I am very thankful that Chattahoochee's staff is very helpful because I have questions all the time.
