The advice that i would give parents and students about finding the right college is make the choice on what your heart feel. Dont go to the college that your parents want you to go . Do it for yourself its your future.

The advice that I would give to parents is for them not to make the final decision of which school your child chooses because your child will be the one that has to attend the college and not you. The advice I will give to students is not to choose a school just because all your friends and/or mate are attending that college. Choose your college wisely. As for both parents and students choose a college that is affordable for your exspenses otherwise you will be in debt for a very long time. Choose a college that will benefit in you in the future. Make the most of college experience otherwise you regret it later on. Do not let others influence you. Have fun and enjoy the college life but remember that you attending school for an education and not for fun.

Make sure to stay in touch with the school officials. GO TO CLASS! Get Involved. Meet with your advisor regularly. Find a mentor with a good GPA.

When choosing the right college you should first look and see if they offer your major/amd or minor. Another major thing to consider when choosing the right school is the cost. Sometimes students get enough financial aid to cover the year, while other students pay out of pocket. After you have considered those two things you should start considering the college size, student to teacher ratio, and the security measures taking place upon the campus.

THE ADVICE I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IS TO TRY TO PICK A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IN-STATE. YOU WOULD SAVE YOUR PARENTS A LITTLE BIT MORE MONEY. BUT IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO TO A COLLEGE THAT IS OUT OF STATE, JUST TRY TO HAVE A JOB SO YOU CAN MAKE SOME MONEY TO HELP YOUR PARENTS OUT. BECAUSE IT IS REALLY HARD FOR ME RIGHT, PLUS MY MOM IS A SINGLE MOTHER OF A 19 YEAR OLD, THAT IS DYING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.

Make sure your financial aid is good before you go. It could bea head ache. Always aim high. Its okay to be rejected but that let's you know that there's something better out there for you. Be involved on campus. looks great on your resume' and study hard. Trust me, it pays off at the end.
Jocelyn
Make sure that the school has your intended major, organized, and reliable when business needs to be taken care of.

I would say to students and parents in search of finding the right college to, first visit the college to feel the atmosphere and environment in which you/ or your child will be staying. Also check the academically statistics, which inquire what most GPA's students have at this college. Lastly I would say make sure the college is wel worth the money paid.
