CSU was my only pick of a college to go to. I did that because I knew that I was going to have the best college experience of my life. I love my HBCU. I love the fact that the school is diverse. It's a lot of support on and off campus. Central state Unviersity is really like a big family for real and I know I can count on anyone no matter what. CSU is my home away from home.

A broad and welcoming community of academics that honors the diversity of the American experience is something that only Central can offer their students. The visceral promise of support one to all students has propelled Central success for in excess of years. For everyone to —Black, White, Asian, Latinx, the affluent, the underprivileged, and everyone in between Central provide a secure and supportive environment.

Central State University is a very prideful school. Back in August I took a campus tour to get to know more about the school. My two tour guides introduced and exposed me to their campus life. Even though Central State is a smaller HBCU, I still felt the energy and the love that the students have for the school. Their goal is to always make someone feel welcomed and to make sure that they are getting involved in everything that they participate in. My tour guides also mentioned that there are alumni who are there to help and will make you feel at home. I definitely recommend Central State to a lot of people especially myself.

I think Central State University is a great school. The campus has a very friendly and welcoming vibe. Each person you meet treats you like family, and helps you as best they can if you have a problem. I'm an in-coming freshmen and every time I visited the campus I was treated as if I was already a student there.

Central State University FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Central State University?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Central State University is 42%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

My advice to me would be to stay in school and finish. I would advise myself to keep going until all of my educational goals have been achieved. Less time would have been spent making the transition from being a young adult to becoming a seasoned adult. I do not regret making the life choices that were made for me and my family, however I would have advised myself to incorporate school in my plan a lot earlier versus now that I am near 40'ish. I see my plans as my destiny and the fact that I am able to return to school at this point in my life is a blessing.

  13. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Central Sate is unique because it has so much history behind it. The clock tower at CSU has survived a tornado that passed through Wilberforce years ago and was the only buliding still standing when the torando left. Not only is our school blessed, but it is very small. This results into the teacher getting to know you as a individual. Teachers are avaliable during office hours and loves to help students. CSU is very relegious and everyone loves being a marauder and love the state ohio. That why we as CSU students say FOR GOD, FOR CENTRAL, FOR STATE.
