It is an great community collage where everyone is super friendly and its very easy to get around campus and also they have many majors to choose from its a very accessible collage that is welcomed to everyone they have many sports and extra activity's.

Rebecca - 02/28/2024

AACC is the top community college in the US and it lives up to those standards. However, it is still a community college so few people get involved on campus and there are not many friendships being formed. The professors are extremely nice and helpful, through both the online and in-person classes. If you are looking for a community college, I would recommend it but it is definitely not a four-year university.

Emily - 08/15/2023

I believe this is a great place for kids to start their future. I am a full time student who also has a busy outside life and work life and AACC is so flexible so I can work towards my degree while juggling everything else. The teachers are also amazing and care about their students and their success.

Roxanne - 07/10/2023

I loved going to AACC, the campus was beautiful and inviting. Everything was accessible. I mainly took my classes online but I had access to the library and my teachers and my study materials with no problems. I only attended 2 in class classes, one was on campus, that was nice because I could really see the atmosphere and the other was off campus at a local high school. Both classes were fairly full and it was nice to have the professor right in front of us in case we needed a better understanding of our assignments.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself not to give up and to believe in my abilities as a young man surrounded by negativity and drugs. My biggest life regret is that I never got a diploma handed to me and I feel ashamed of it knowing I settled for a GED. I would tell myself that if I did stick it out that a university will be so awesome and so different, so make sure that I take this last year to maintain good grades, because your future depends on it. Lastly, I would tell myself to not be afraid to ask for help and to seek guidance even if your parents do not help, someone will. I would like to note that I never was a high school senior. Thank you for any consideration.

There really is nothing that I "wish that I knew" before attending AACC. I am a senior in high school and decdied to start college early and I knew that AACC would be the perfect starter for beginning my full-time university experience. AACC offers school for those who do not want to attend a more rigorous hard-working college.

  12. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The most frustrating thing about AACC is no single branch has all of the courses a person needs for a degree. For example, I live near one of the branches. It's about a five to ten minute drive from here and my degree program requires me to take many Math, English, and other courses, but it also requires me to take many science courses where the only places I can do labs are more then half an hour away. So the commute to the different branches is very inconvenient.
