This award is available for U.S. minority students who are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program and planning to pursue a career as a professor. Applicants must be residents of Virginia and must enroll at one of the following eligible institutions: College of William and Mary, George Mason University, Old Dominion University, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

SWE Baltimore-Washington Section – Freshman Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. female incoming and current college freshmen who are majoring in engineering or computer science and have grade point averages of 3.5 or higher. Students must reside in the following zip code areas: District of Columbia, 200 or 202-205; Maryland, 206-212, 214, 216-217; Virginia, 201, 220-223.
Mary Jones Berry Scholarship
This scholarship is open to female graduate students who are majoring in aeronautical/aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science & engineering, or mechanical engineering. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students attending VA Tech, Univ. of VA, Penn. State, GA Tech, and Purdue Univ.
Sherman & Nancy Reece (Virginia) Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. and international students who are resident of Virginia and graduated from a Virginia high school. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Alice Hinchcliffe Williams, RDH, MS Graduate Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Virginia residents who are pursuing graduate degrees in dental hygiene or accredited degree studies related to the professional roles of a dental hygienist. Students must demonstrate financial need of $1,500 or more, and must be professional or student members of the ADHA.
Gary Wagner, K3OMI, Scholarship
This scholarship is for U.S. students who are licensed radio amateurs (novice class or higher) pursuing a bachelor of science degree in any field of engineering. Students must reside in North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia; students must demonstrate financial need.
Steven G. King Play Environments Scholarship
This scholarship is open to international and U.S. students who are in their final two years of undergraduate study or are in graduate programs at a LAAB-accredited institution. Students must be studying landscape architecture with a demonstrated interest and aptitude in the design of play environments.
Landscape Forms Design for People Scholarship
This scholarship is for international and U.S. students who are in their final year of full-time undergraduate study in landscape architecture at a LAAB-accredited institution. Applicants must show a proven contribution to the design of public spaces that integrates landscape design and the use of amenities to promote social interaction.
ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are in their third, fourth, or fifth year of undergraduate study in landscape architecture at a LAAB-accredited institution. Students must be members of ASLA and demonstrate financial need.
Nancy Penn Lyons Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to Georgia high school seniors with demonstrated financial need who have been accepted for enrollment at selective private or out-of-state institutions (students attending public Georgia institutions ineligible). Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and an SAT score of 1000 or higher or an ACT score of 22 or higher.
