The people in this area are extremely polite and friendly. The entire city of Bellingham is full of kind hearted citizens who are willing to talk to you and respect you. I recently had a discussion on a public bus with a student who had a cup full of rosehips. I didn't know what they were, so I asked and she and I began talking and soon a third person joined in. She was willing to offer everything she knew about them including the use and where you can pick them. You don't find that just anywhere.

The student needn?t be bogged down with useless general education classes. This benefits the student by allowing for further study into subject matter, and catering to a subarea of expertise.
