I think the best thing about my school is the level of care the professors and and administration show. The really do care about your future and are willing to work at your pace because they want to see you succeed.

I love that it's a big school. I've been to small schools all my life until recently. Small schools give people the opportunity to get picked on or beat up. Even when I started off at my smaller Lutheran unversity I was still getting made fun of for how I look and for being mixed. At uwm the diversity of students is endless. No one will mess with you about how you dress, your ethinic background, ect. It's the perfect setting for those who wish to focus on their studies and not be bothered by petty things.

The best part about going to school at the University of Milwakuee is the opportunity for off-campus housing. The University is currently building more dorms, which are good for freshmen students, but the majority of students decide to live off campus after the first year. There are tons of apartments and duplexes within a mile of campus. Although it's more convenient to live just a block off campus, the monthly rent is going to be significantly higher than living a little further away and commuting.

I consider the best thing about my school to be the diversity of the staff and students. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of professors and peers from different cultures, countries, and economic, social, and/or religious backgrounds. This has allowed me to develop a better worldview and understand my own situation better. A diverse school also prepares students to face the real world. Ultimately, it has made me a more well rounded person, and has inspired me to pursue a career with an international component.

The best thing about my school is the diversity because it allows people to be open and express themselves for the wonderful individual that they are.

The theatre teachers are nice and helpful and encouraging.

The school of business is the best thing about my school. We have so many alumni that come back to help current students continue their education and provide so many career opportunities.

The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee is a very fun and academic-focused school. The professors and teacher's assistants at this university are very good at staying connected with all of their students whether or not the class size is big. They manage to make themselves available for individual sessions with students in order to help that student succeed in the class. Also, the social life on campus is very active. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

The best thing would be the scientific research that we do, but in most other majors very little research is done.

UWM was easy to get into and fairly cheap compared to other schools, which was important to me because I wasn?t motivated to focus on academics in high school. Now I am focused and about to graduate; I think UWM gave me a good undergraduate foundation for my professional and academic career.
