Describe the students at University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Our campus is very diverse. We have one of the best study abroad programs in the south east, which also means that students study abroad here. There are all different types of people here from different ethnicities, religions, financial backgrounds, etc., but I don't feel like our campus is "segregated." I wouldn't feel awkward walking up to anyone on this campus and speaking to them. We wear whatever we feel like putting on in the morning. I know I enjoy sweatpants and a hoodie a little too often, but there are people who get dressed up every day, and lots of people who just wear normal clothes.

there is a wide diversity among students on campus in all aspects. i dont think any type of student would really feel out of place. some students get really dressed up for class every day, while others look like they just rolled out of bed. different types of students interact somewhat. of the four tables, one would be athletes, one would be a large rowdy group, one would be quieter maybe sorority girls, and the other would be music people. i think a lot of students are politically aware, but im not one of them and i dont pay attention to the ones who are.

The student body is somewhat split but within each subcategory is very unified. Those that want to be involved within things with athletics are all very close, others who want to be involved in greek life are very close, and so on. The school is very laid back and relaxed for the most part and there is no tension from one group to another.

religious groups i only see every once in a while. someone who is not sociable will feel out of place because people here get in groupies and dont invite people anywhere very easily. most people wear jeans or sweatpants. i have never eaten in the dining hall but i would guess, a rugby table, athletic table, sorority table, and a nobody table. most students are from north carolina and a lot of peopl from new jersey and up north. most people that i hang out with are financially stable. most people are aware of their surroundings, definenetly more left, no people talk about how drunk they were the night before.

Billi

Nowadays students dont care how they look when coming to class. The norm is sweatpants, t-shirt, and comfortable shoes. there is no one who will step on campus and not feel comfortable in terms of meeting people and starting relationship with others.
