I love attending UMES, I’m from baltimore and I feel as thought attending the school is really giving me a peace of mind. I created so many bonds and memories while attending. I had struggled last semester and the staff kept encouraging me to push through. So many fun activities a lot local school campus deals I just love the school as a whole. I would encourage others to come here as well.

Nyla - 05/25/2021

UMES is a great school. The administration tries their hardest to make the university an enjoyable experience.

Najaah - 03/19/2020

Even though I haven't been there for very long, I can't wait to go to school here. I want to be there through it all and see a new transition in my life.

Devon - 01/23/2020

I love my HBCU. Some complain, but they do not want to get involved. I personally feel like every school has the potential to be enjoyable, but you have to make the best of your experiences. You have to get out join organizations, get to know different people, and network. I'm glad I chose UMES and I wouldn't choose a different HBCU.
