What's the most frustrating thing about Spring Arbor University?

Linda

I have found the most frustrating thing about school is trying to balance a job, family and other obligations, while still finding time for my course work. I depend upon my job to provide the money I need for school. As a nurse I am required, without fail, to be to work on time...everytime. I am often required to work a 12-hour shift in order to accomodate my school schedule. Add work to the time I spend away from my family and I find myself very torn between studying and spending time with my two, young children.

I currently attend Spring Arbor Universitys accredited program located in Petoskey, Mi. This program meets once a week for four hours. To find something frustrating about my school is proving to be difficult. I would have to say that the most frustrating thing about Spring Arbor University would be the coursework, however, this is not a bad thing. I have found the work to be a positive challenge thus resulting in a positive sense of accomplishment.

Britney

Not having alot to do on the weekends except homework.

Nicole

The most frustrating thing about my school is the dining commons. Many students feel they are being ripped off by the prices of the meal plans, especially athletes. I wish we were able to choose for ourselves and not have mandatory rules on meals.

Jenna

The most frustrating thing about Spring Arbor is the fact that it is in the middle of no where. Even though there is a town about 20 minutes away students without cars find it harder to get to town. The small area takes some getting used to especially for students from big cities.

Abbey

Often times, the social community seems very exclusive. It can be difficult to make new friends .

Clare

Perhaps the most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that I don't have a car and it is often difficult to find rides into Jackson for a doctor's appointment or to the grocerty store.

Brendan

The cost.

Tamara

I love my school. I think the most frustrating thing is that feedback for online education students does not always come as quickly as it could in order to help us learn the subject more fully.

Amanda

The most frustrating thing about Spring Arbor University is the cost of the school. It is a very expensive school, and is not always the most flexible with helping students to financially afford the school. I often feel that the school does not do enough to help its students financially, and does not make financial guidance as readily available for students as it should.
