Its a very big school. Sometimes you can feel quite lost and confused as to where you are. It can very challenging in stating your beliefs that might differ from the norm. Students can be very disrespectful. Not caring; very ignornant of professors. Students can have a mentality of just wanting a grade without the work. Group projects will always be tough. Professors can also be very difficulty and demanding. There can be a lot of forced attention given to professors or certain teachers, which can be very frustrating to students who don't.

I live in Lansing and some of the classes are only offered at the Main Campus in Spring Arbor. So, it is an hour drive each way and with the price of gas, this is getting very costly.

Jean

The most frustrating thing about Spring Arbor is the high price of going to school here. Though it's a great place to be and I'm thankful everyday to be here, the struggle to afford it can sometimes conquer those happy feelings. Spring Arbor offers financial aid as well as scholarships, but the amounts seem to be less and less each year. In contrast, tuition rises each year which makes it hard to pay for.

Jeanette

There are certain rules set to keep the students pure. So we have open hours for men and women dorms.

Bryan

The most frustrating thing is that you have to have a meal plan your freshman and sophomore year and you must have one if you live in the dorms your junior and senior years.

Sherry

They only offer one section of a class that usually are in the middle of the day. Its hard to commute and hold a job while attending this school. Also it seems as though none of the faculty are interested in you being successful.

Kendra

The cost to attend school and live on campus. It is frustrating that I have to take out so much money in loans to attend.

Karen

I can't say anything about this yet as this will be my first semester at this university.

Ariel

The most frustrating thing sometimes is getting in touch with professors, or other staff. There doesn't seem to be enough staff for the growing amount of students that come to Spring Arbor University each year. The financial aid and business office staff is working hard, but sometimes they aren't helpful enough in figuring out options that work for families who are truly struggling to pay for tuition.
