It seems to be am excellent school full of students ready to learn. They give amazing opportunities and education is of the utmost importance. The professors are there to help you succeed not to watch you struggle and fail like some other colleges I've seen and visited. Every student I've talked to has nothing but praise towards the school.

Southeastern University is a wonderful school. Though I was only a visitor, it was truly a welcoming and warm experience. Staff and students were very friendly, and showed an immense amount of kindness, the food was amazing, and the classrooms were reasonably sized and included everyone.

Overall, SEU is not a bad school, but looking back I might have chosen a different school. I came here as a STEM major, but the entire culture is geared towards liberal arts and ministry majors. If you are not one of those majors, expect not to fit in outside your circle of the few STEM majors that attend here. Also, it is frustrating how much I pay to go here, when the elevator frequently breaks down and other minor things are dirty or broken.

Southeastern is a very beautiful and safe school to be at. Walking between buildings is very calming and allows for me to feel at peace and safe. The size of the school is just enough fro you too feel independent and like and adult but not too much to where it is overwhelming.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

well, I would tell myself to be very patient. To pay attention to those I would meet and be friends with forever, and also my now Husband, but I would also tell myself that I must be dedicated to the learning process. I would tell me/her to be more self motivated than I am now. But while there are many details that I would change from my college experience, the same could be said of the rest of life, and I am who I am now because of what I've gone through and accomplished. Then I would wish myself luck, and watch to see what happens.

  8. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Southeastern location can be a hinderance. A blessing if you have means of transportation. The school does not offer shuttles to get going to the groccery store. It is a blessing because students are right in between the tampa and orlando, where jobs, internships, and fun can be had. I remember trying to get around last year was a little hecktive. I even tried to get the bus, but because it is in a small town the bus stops running early. Also Southeatern does not offer enough schlorship oppurtunies for the students. Scholarships for intened majors are very scarce.
