What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
If i had the chance to go back in time i would definantly tell myself to try much harder! Get better grades so that you can get accepted to a four year university right away! I am currently in a community college and with all the budget cuts it is extremely hard to get the classes i need. And to be eligable to transfer to a four year university you have to take all the required classes that they have listed for you but since many of the classes got cut i find myself looking at other community colleges for the classes and it is very stressful trying to attend more then one college just to take one class. But i know that eventually all my hard work will pay off, i just really wish i would have took high school a little more serious.

What's unique about your campus?
The affordability (especially in today's economy) at San Diego City College is especially enticing. It is located in an urban environment, in the midst of downtown San Diego. You can get there by walking (if you live in downtown), car (from any freeway), bus, and trolley.
The teachers there are generally very good and well-educated themselves. They care about their students' success and that is always appreciated!

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
The commute is sometimes frustrating becasue I do not have a car. It is very upsetting when I have to take the bus and the trolley during the rush hours. It would be very helpful if I had a car because it could cut my commute time more than half and I would have more time to study and do other things that are important.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
What I consider the worst thing about my college is that there are many kids with special needs that are unable to do everything by themselves and they need help instead of more money going to those types of kids they waist in on unnecessary things. A lot of money goes to the health center and many of us don?t even use the health center. I meet one friend that was unable to see and because of the too many problems with getting around school he quit college and I believe that is unfair.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

There are also help to the students that have children .What I like most about this is that many people are able to attend college because of this financial help.
