San Diego City College Top Questions

The most frustrating thing is waiting, because we have all these students and budget cuts. Also, the books are so expensive and I didn't ant to pre-order anything, unless I was sure I got what I needed, so now I have to use half my Pel grant on books. Waiting for my Pel grant, when I am so broke is also frustrating.

The commute is sometimes frustrating becasue I do not have a car. It is very upsetting when I have to take the bus and the trolley during the rush hours. It would be very helpful if I had a car because it could cut my commute time more than half and I would have more time to study and do other things that are important.

If I could go back in time with the knowledge I have now, I'd feel more confident in who I was. For certain, I now know that you can not make anyone else happy, and no one else can make you happy. If I was in high school with that opinion felt, I would focus on my own personal efforts and would not sacrifice so much time trying to impress my friends, and family. I've learned that I am the best person I can rely on. I'd take Advanced Placement Classes and listen to my own advice.

Deadlines! I work full time and am a fulltime student so sometimes it is hard for me to keep up with the deadlines in class specialy if the teacher only give you a couple days for a big project! But i always try my best and because i get no support from my parents i know it is important for me to stay focused in school and keep up with my work so eventually i can get a better paying job were i wont have to work so much and i can spend more time on furthering my educational goals.

The budgete cuts! The economy crisis is causing the school to cut 25{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of all classes!
