Rose is an amazing place for kids who want to be the best in their field. It is a small school in a small city but the friendships you make and the things you learn will last a lifetime. There are still plenty of fun things to do on and around campus just not as much as a bigger college.

Lawson - 02/10/2020

It is a school for learning. A open door policy for the teachers and professors to help you out. Students rarely hid in there rooms to study. Just flop wherever and close to where they will find help if they need it. Excellent school for learning. Plus they have sports. I love tennis and musicals.

Zach - 08/27/2019

If you are not willing to work your butt off every single day (including the weekends) this place is not for you. However, the faculty and staff are easily accessible and happy to help when you may be struggling in a class. That being said, carefully consider if you are willing to pay for such an expensive school that is going to leave you with no free time to have fun.

Rose-Hulman is a fantastic educational establishment for learning engineering. The academics are vigorous, but the school is heaven-bent on helping you succeed. Beyond education, there are opportunities to get involved in sports, clubs, and Greek life, as well as constant events happening around campus.

The common stereotype of Rose Students is that they are hard to interact with socially and are into things like video games, studying, and programming. Almost everyone plays intramural sports. There are a ton of student groups and clubs that you can get involved with and they do a good job of promoting them so that you are informed. I play a varsity sport, have a job, have a show on the campus radio station, actively participate in several clubs, and live in a fraternity house, and still find the time to do my classwork
