What should every freshman at your school know before they start?
I would advise my self to study more and harder. I would also do better on my work and not have been so careless, I would tell my self to do the best I possibly could because you only get one chance to do your best in high school. I would have went beyond the work expected so I would remember how to do it in the future

What's unique about your campus?
The best thing about my school is the campus. It's a beautiful campus with lots of trees and hills. I enjoy just walking around campus and enjoying nature.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing, to me, about Peru State College is the location. I have quite a commute to get to my church, grocery stores, movie theatres. I am used to living in large cities where access to activities is easier and the places I frequent are more centrally located.

This school is a good school for any student who doesn't like big classrooms and lots of students and competition. If you don't want to have to study a whole lot, you should come here.

Most classmates are friendly, helpful, and eager to help out if there is a problem, like missing a critical day of notes, or doing their part on a group assignment.

I wish I had known how to study better. It had been so long since I was in school that I had forgot what it was like to study for my classes.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?
For me the most frustrating thing is if I do not understand something in a classrooom then it is very hard for me to get it. I at times have to know the "why" and if I don't get that then I don't understand assignments. Even though professors are eager to help, i feel awckward.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?
I mostly brag about how dedicated my instructors are and how friendly and kind the community is here. The instructors actually care if you miss class because of an injury, and will make sure you are alright. The students are very respectful and make the atmosphere at Peru State College enjoyable.

Peru has a small class size and many of the professors have experience in their field, which makes their lectures interesting.

Peru has a Campus Activities Board, a Black Student Union, a Student Senate, sports, bands, choirs, a writer's guild, and a student newspaper, among other things.
