I've been going to OCCC for about a year now and I've had a great experience so far. They have a great, helpful faculty that has helped me whenever I needed it. I wouldn't have been able to make it into the nursing program without their encouragement, advising, and teaching. OCCC has a tight-nit feel and makes everyone feel welcome.

Maddilyn - 04/01/2024

Oregon Coast Community College is not a horrible college. The professors there are super nice and are willing to help. They are wanting you to pass their class and want you to reach out to them whenever you have questions. The campus isn’t huge so it’s easy to understand where to go and where the classrooms are at. The online classes through Oregon Coast Community College are well laid out and very easy to understand and easy access to talk to your professors without any issues.

Hallie - 05/29/2019

Oregon Coast Community College is a beautiful campus that offers small class sizes and lots of one-on-one teacher student time during class. It is affordable and offers programs unique to the area such as aquarium science. The campus is clean and teachers are there to help.

Being that it's a community college, you have to work to keep friends. It's very different from a four year institution-- there are less cliques and the teachers can give you one on one attention because the class sizes are so small. The largest class I've ever been in was barely under thirty students. The faculty and staff are super nice and very helpful. As far as student body goes, there's a wide variety of students from all sorts of backgrounds. I've been in classes before where the youngest student was 16 and the oldest was 64. Overall OCCC offers a friendly atmosphere and learning rich academic environment.
