11/14/2024When I visited Montreat College, I was immediately struck by how comfortable and welcoming the campus felt. As soon as I stepped foot on campus, I felt at home. The people there are genuinely friendly—everyone I met was eager to offer help or engage in conversation, which really made a positive impression. Whether it was students, faculty, or staff, the sense of community was palpable, and it’s clear that Montreat values building strong, supportive relationships.
The campus itself is absolutely beautiful. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the views are stunning, and the natural surroundings provide a peaceful, inspiring atmosphere for both studying and recreation. It's the kind of place where you can easily take a walk and clear your mind, and the outdoor spaces are perfect for reflection or just enjoying the beauty of nature.
The facilities are well-maintained and offer a mix of traditional and modern spaces. I was particularly impressed with [mention specific facility, if any, such as the library, student center, athletic complex, or chapel]—everything seems designed to support both academic and personal growth. It’s clear that the college prioritizes creating an environment where students can thrive, both in and out of the classroom.
What also stood out to me is the strong sense of mission and purpose at Montreat. The college’s Christian foundation is evident in both academic and extracurricular activities, and that’s something that resonated with me personally. The emphasis on faith, community, and service is woven into the culture, which makes the experience feel more holistic.
All in all, Montreat College really stood out as a place where I could not only pursue my academic goals but also grow spiritually and build lasting relationships. I’m definitely considering it as a top choice for my college experience.

11/21/2023I feel as if the school puts on a big show for new visitors then change the second they apply. I really wish the would give more scholarship opportunities to the student-athletes that do good on and off the field/court. It’s frustrating maintaining a 4.0 at a school who averages 3.01 and not be rewarded for it. I personally can go to another school for academics but I love the environment of the school but they are not helping me out much.

03/25/2020This college is beautifully built and attracts the eye to all of the buildings, that are nestled in the mountains. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The chapel I attended was simple and beautiful. There are also different hiking trails to visit on campus.

06/26/2019Montreat College is a great college. This is a college that will help you grow as a person in every aspect of your life just because of the environment, the people you’re surrounded by, the activities you participate in, and just for what the college stands for. I love everything about it and can not wait to attend this fall.
