2023-2024 was my first year at Missouri State University. I enjoyed this college experience as well. The professors were nice, I felt safe walking outside at night and during the day, and I really enjoyed getting to meet people. I think this college is also very diverse and you can find a lot of different people with different backgrounds here. The only thing I would complain about is sometimes the dining hall food isn't the best, and their math professors aren't the best if you already struggle with math. The campus isn't too big where you'll get lost, but also not small to where you're seeing the same people. I enjoy the activities you can do in your spare time like, going out to Brick City, swimming, and playing video games in the PSU. I plan on attending MSU for the rest of my three years of college.

The campus is beautiful and clean. The fountain is gorgeous in the fall and spring, I live for that. The housing situation is decent, nice space for all the items I have. Also, the sports atmosphere is great, I believe that it is a D1 or 2 school, but the games are super fun to go too.

Missouri State University-Springfield is a reputable institution known for its quality education and vibrant campus life. However, the lack of significant financial aid opportunities for international students is undoubtedly a concerning issue. Access to financial aid can significantly impact a student's ability to pursue higher education, especially for those coming from abroad who may face additional financial barriers. While Missouri State University-Springfield may offer some financial assistance options for international students, it's evident that more robust support could make a meaningful difference in facilitating diverse and talented individuals from around the world to access their educational programs. Financial aid plays a crucial role in promoting diversity, inclusivity, and equity within higher education institutions. By offering more substantial financial aid packages tailored to the needs of international students, Missouri State University-Springfield could attract a more diverse pool of applicants and enrich its campus community with different perspectives and experiences. Additionally, enhancing financial aid opportunities for international students aligns with broader goals of fostering global connections and preparing students for an increasingly interconnected world. It can also contribute to the university's reputation as an institution committed to promoting access to education for all, regardless of nationality or socioeconomic background. In conclusion, while Missouri State University-Springfield is undoubtedly a respected institution, addressing the lack of financial aid opportunities for international students would enhance its ability to attract top talent from around the world and promote a more inclusive and diverse learning environment.

When visiting this campus, I saw a great amount of awesome people who exhibit natural and genuine behaviors. They are not big on parties or drinking, but are way more concerned with degrees and academics. They truly know what it means to be a leader with very valuable morals.

  15. What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?

At Missouri State University, there are a few different stereotypes around the campus, as is the case for almost any campus out there. These common stereotypes include things like jocks and, of course, frat boys and girls in Greek life. But one stereotype that isn't present on every campus is the stereotype surrounding a student body that includes those from the Midwest. Stereotypes about country students with small town lifestyles. But in my opinion, these stereotypes are not accurate. Of course, there are some students on the campus who fit the stereotypes to a T. But this is not the case overall. Missouri State's student body is extremely diverse when it comes to things like ethnic backgrounds but also when it comes to lifestyles and cultures. Missouri State may be a smaller university by some means, but it is not small or predictable at all when it comes to the cultures that make up the student body.
