Laredo Community College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Laredo Community College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Laredo Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Nowadays, mostly nobody likes to take high school seriously. A lot of high school seniors think that since it is their last year there it is just time to fall back, relax, and party. Unfortunately that is not the case. On the contrary, it is the beginning of a whole new chapter in life. Therefore, the advice I would have given to myself in high school about college is study hard, plan ahead, and never fallback behind. First, I would have told myself to study hard for college because it would have helped me out by paying for it and also by making it a whole lot easier for me. Second, I would have also told myself to plan ahead because it helps out by keeping organized. Last, I would have told myself to never fall back because it waste?s a lot of valuable time. Consequently, if I would have listened to this advice before, I probably would have gotten tons of scholarships, better grades, and more time for myself. Hence, this advice now goes for all those high school seniors who are out there thinking about college, how to pay for it, and how to prepare for it.

  14. What's unique about your campus?

The facts: the community college I'm attending is just as equal as any other university I know. As a matter of fact, the college I'm attending used to be a state university, a museum, and a military base all at once, so it means the school has some of the original professors now since the university (at the time) opened. To me, the best part about it is that the college has a very diverse and well organized art department unlike the other surrounding universities in the city.
