My overall opinion over Labette is that they really care about you not just as a student but as a person. They care about your well being, and make you feel like family. They will always greet you with a smile, and ask you how your day was. It makes me proud to go to school there.

I really enjoy everything about this college. I play softball and the softball program is one of my favorites. I also enjoy classes and the professors. They are very understanding as a college athlete. The dorms are very nice, but somewhat expensive. Overall I would recommend this college to many.

Ashley - 03/23/2018

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would start taking college classes earlier than my senior year in high school. I would be much more focused on my studies. Making the honor roll means so much more than your name on a piece of paper on the wall by the office. It has long range effects that I did not realize would help me out when applying to colleges and receiving scholarships to colleges. Athlectics are fun and you learn sportsman ship but I would focus more on the acdemics in school. I would take all of my teachers advise to heart and not let it roll in one ear and out the other. This first year in college I have learned in more ways than one. My senior year was a learning experience, my college freshman year was a learning experience. Each and every day I learn more than I did the day before. You can't go back so look ahead into the future and make everyday a learning experience.

I think the best thing about my school is that it is a great learning enviroment. The teachers know who you are and they are very helpful. The students around campus are very friendly too.
