  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

What advice I would give myself, if I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior would be to not freak out. It's natural to be a little nervous going to someplace you have never been and starting new. I would make sure that I did a little more college scouting, like vist more campuses, especially the ones where I was most interested in. Don't wait till the last minute. Every day is essential, so make the most out of everyday your in school. Get as much information as you can from your school about the different colleges you want to go to. Call ahead, and get to know your new roomate before you move in. This will help with your transition into living with a stranger. The more you can learn about each other before hand the better you will get along when time comes to be roomies. Just take a deep breath and everything will work out and be okay. Also, apply for as many scholarships as you can.

  3. What's unique about your campus?

I think that the best thing about my school is that it's really flexable. There are many programs to choose from and friendly staff to help with any questions. I think theses are the best things about my school because in today's economy we need all the help we can get. Without these flexable hours many americans wouldn't be able to finish a degree they started or start one just out of high school.

  4. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

I like my school because there is alot of resources available for students, and someone is always there to answer questions if you need help. I like that the tuition is low and is actually affordable to go back to school. I like that classes are once a week, I think it gives students more time to study on their own time. It's good for people who have families and jobs. The instructors are great too, and seem to do their best to help students as much as possible.

  6. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The Financial Aid office is bad about returning calls to students in a timely manner. They seemed to be over whelmed with all of the students in the school, but that should not be an excuse not to return a phone call to someone. When you call them you are sent directly to voice mail. It would be really nice to talk to an adult at least one time when you call.
