If I could go back in time to when I was just graduating high school, I would have told myself immediately to not take a year off. It felt nice to not worry about school for a year, but now I am a year behind everyone else and still a year from where I want to be. I would have warned myself that I would be having a beaurtiful baby boy at the age of twenty and that I should have already been more than half way down with my schooling. I would have told myself to not give up and to keep pushing on that once a received my diploma and started on my new career I would have the greatest satisfaction in the whole world.

I would tell myself to work as hard as you can in every class. Try your hardest to get the best grades possible and do not slack off. I would also tell myself to get a job and start saving as much money as possible because when you're in college, money is sacred and you're going to be desperate for it. I would tell myself to apply for all the scholarships you are eligible for because college tuition and books are insanely expensive and financial aid is not going to cover all of that. Another thing I would tell myself is to make the best of the time you have left with your friends because once you graduate, everyone goes their seperate ways and you will lose touch with almost all of the people you used to be incredibly close with. If my high school senior self would have known these things before, I would be much less stressed and overworked than I am now. I wish someone would have told me this stuff when I was a senior.

College is a lot of hard work and determination, but totally worth it. Apply yourself and you will do well, but also remember to have some fun and to not take life too seriously. You will meet people that will be your friend for life, and you will forget about others. Don't sweat the small stuff, because in the end, it will just stress you out beyond belief. If you need a break, then take one, but just know how hard it is to return. Believe in yourself, and you can move mountains; don't and you will just watch your life pass by.

You need to develope and refine your study skills. Work on overcoming procrastination now; there is no room for procrastination in the college environment. Don't be afraid to speak out in class. Even wrong answers lead to knowledge. Don't fret over becoming the most popular person on campus; although, it is good to get to know your fellow classmates and form study groups. It is important to become involved with some student activities because you will need to have time to just have fun and relax; however, you need to make sure that you don't over-extend yourself with commitments. The main reason you are at college is to gain an education. Keeping this goal in mine, make sure that you set aside at least two hours of study time for every hour of class time. You can never be too prepared for your in-class assignements, quizzes, or exams. Most importantly, don't allow yourself to become too overwhelmed or stressed out. Your fellow classmates are in the same boat as you and your instructors have been through what you will be going through; don't be afraid to turn to them for support and guidance.

If i could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior i would quite. For one i would tell myself that going to college is the next step in not only becoming a better person, but a leader. Also college life is a way to meet new people who have goals for themselves and are trying to reach success. Which are the peopl that i should surround myself with. I would tell my self that life after high school is no walk in the park, and further education is needed to strive to be something. Also that if i would want to reach financial stability it is a good idea to have a degree under my belt. Nobody is going to hold your had and make you do it, so get out there and do it for yourself!

If I could travel back to myself as a high school senior I wouldn't know where to start. First off I would state the importance of learning responsibility. In high school everything is set-up for you and your constantly reminded and scolded about homework, while in college it's all on you as an adult student to remember due dates, turn in your home work and do the assignments. No one tells you it's late, or asks why you didn't turn it in. If you mess up its on you, after all your the one paying for it.
Second, I would tell myself that it's not as scary as it's made out to be, but the work is harder. Theres no daily homework and you probably won't see your professor later in the day walking the halls. Its all about being an adult. In high school I can now see why it was like wrangling cattle, we needed to be told what to do and how to do it, but in college you have to do everything and be responsible for what you do and don't do.

I would tell myself to be more prepared for the college life of classes and professors.

If I could go back in time to when I was a senior I would start out visiting colleges to see where i would like it and be most comfortable at. When i have found the right college I would go in and visit to get registered and prepare myself for the placement test. I would visit the financial advisor and the class advisor to prepare myself in advance. I would have applied for scholarships ahead of time. I would have gotten a job to save up any extra money for college tuition. Then I would have gathered as much information as possible. Lastly, I would tell myself to give 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} effort and time to my studies and attendance. Oh yea and the last thing I would tell myself is to GO GET' EM GIRL!

I would advice myself to study harder and go to collage right after high school.
