Despite its small campus appearance, Heritage University has a big heart and soul. Its professors are more than happy to help aid a student in need. Its small classrooms allow more room for growth and personalized one-on-ones with the professor. Additionally, the school is a hidden gem. I'd recommend this school to any of my current senior students. I know they're in great hands.

Jennifer - 03/13/2021

I have gone to another school before and it was nothing compared to Heritage University. At Heritage University it is a small school and everyone gets to know each other. The professors are always willing to help and always available. They have some of the greatest professors who provide us with not only education but hope too. The food on campus is great and the cafeteria is a place where anyone can gather and make friends. The food is not expensive and they provide a variety of food to choose from.

I think it's a great school. Due to COVID-19, I have not been able to attend in person classes yet. However, I have been able to experience some great zoom calls with my instructors and classmates. This isn't how I thought my first year at college would go but I'm glad it's going as well as it is.

Elizabeth - 07/31/2019

Overall this University is a good alternative if you want to stay close to home, this University is also a good way to start off your education. Heritage is overall a small campus meaning everyone knows each other, even if it's just by face. The classrooms are relatively small, this is great for one on one with your professor. However, if you're a big sports person I recommend going elsewhere, this college doesn't have any sports teams.

Heritage University FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Heritage University?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Heritage University is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could give advice to myself in high school, I would tell myself to start Running Start sooner (junior year) and use that time to take more versatile prerequisites, such as speech. In addition, I would tell myself to go to Central Washington University instead of Heritage, forego the minor in education, and to take advantage of as many technical writing and grant writing courses as I possibly could. Those are the choices I should have made that I am paying for now. I would also encourage myself to spend more time looking for grants and scholarships during my senior year, so that college wasn't such a drain on my resources. I have thrived in college for the most part, but I made some serious missteps because I didn't have a good advisor at my disposal to help me chart my course. That, I think, would be the last piece of advice I would give myself: find a good advisor or counselor and use them to chart out a postsecondary plan that makes sense for you. I wish I had that time to do over. There is a lot I would do differently.

  3. Describe your favorite campus traditions.

Heritage University is best known for it's diversity and it's a private institution with classes that contain small amount of students; therefore proffesors help us understand our curriculm to the fullest without stress.

  4. What's unique about your campus?

I can't think of any positives associated with Heritage University. I would encourage prospective students to save their time and money and go some place else. I wish someone had told me the same thing. The school is very expensive and the quality of education is very poor. A majority of the courses I was instructed to take had little or nothing to do with my chosen field of study. I hope no one else makes the same mistake.

  5. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Financial Aid is the most dissapointing, hands down. Funding seems to be in late after school is in it's first couple of weeks. It is bothering because I need books and it depends on how fast funding comes in. Some of their staff seem shortsided on how to write an "official" need analysis for some scholarship requirements. The cashier lady seems like she hates her job at times. Other than that though, it really is a nice school.
