Clark College is a good school to attend if you want to prepare for university or just get ahead before you go. My teachers are reasonable, easy to communicate with, respond to messages, and are friendly. I haven't really been on campus because I prefer Clark's online classes but I have heard a lot how the campus is great.

Gabriel - 11/19/2024

Clark College is a school with an incredibly diverse assortment of learning oppurtunities as well as multiple fun and exciting extra curricular activites for students of all ages. My classes are engaging and my classmates are extremely professional.

Clark College is a great school, with a beautiful campus and a really great sense of community. They have frequent free events on campus for students to join in, a great coffee place on campus, and fun classes! Not all professors are fantastic, but what school has only great professors? If you check Rate My Professor beforehand, you're good to go. They also do a great job of creating spaces and groups for students to find people that are similar to them, and plenty of spaces to just relax and hang out!

I think it's a great place to learn. I especially like their Running Start Program for Juniors and Seniors in high school. It's an amazing program if you're looking to save money, take harder classes, graduate high school with an Associates Degree, be prepared for a four year college, and more.

Clark College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Clark College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Clark College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell my high school self that grades are important but not as important as learning the concepts at hand. Getting the full understanding of the material and nurturing the spirit of intellectual curiosity is what makes for a rich and full experience, not a letter in a grade book. From a tactical prospective, I would tell my senior self how critical it is to develop strong time management and organizational skills to combat the ever present, teenage staple of procrastination. While I always seemed to pull it out, turn in the paper, get a good grade on the test I crammed for, I have learned that waiting until the last minute might appear to work in the short term, but it?s only cheating myself and causing undue stress. I would tell myself to be prepared as I transition from the comfort of my parent?s household out into the real world because there is so much to learn about being an independent and responsible adult. Finally, have fun, live your life fully, and appreciate your parents in the last year of high school.

  4. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about Clark College is the parking. City buses are provided however, the majority of the students drive. When the school was first built it was not designed to accommodate such a large population. Now, over the years as the population increased, the parking situation gets worst. A number of people I know have to come at least an hour before their class begins to look for a parking spot. Those who find a spot on campus are the lucky ones too. There are some like me, who park at the local community center and walk to campus.

  10. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

I find nothing frustrating about my school at all. I feel like my school is pretty easy going just the way I like it. If I think about it I think I can find a few things such as school being too close to home or having running start students (students who are in high school but may attending the college due to a placement test). That brings me to the placement test which tells you where you are placed and in what class. Sometimes taking the test could be a fluke!
