It has a beautiful campus full of nature and the occasional deer. I've never run into a rude student there and even made some close friends. I loved most of the teachers I've had. The teacher in charge of my major is not only one of the best teachers I've had but also one of the nicest people I've ever meant. Even some of the more boring classes were made interesting and engaging by the teachers. Of course, there are some teachers I didn't like but none of them were horrible. I highly recommend Hagerstown Community College especially if you're going into art. They are extremely passionate about art.

Overall, the college offers a variety of avenues for students to succeed. The college has areas such as the tutoring center and library services that help with maintaining a student's integrity and work ethic. The food on campus can get expensive and repetitive at times, but nonetheless, it's pretty good and they offer a variety of meals to accommodate for certain dietary restrictions, allergies and preferences.

Hagerstown Community College is a great place for high school students, like myself, to get ahead in their education. The students and teachers are very kind and supportive. They are flexible with their hours and offer after class help too many students that are struggling in the class. I think this college is a great place to get used to the college atmosphere and get done credits that could possibly transfer to other colleges. Hagerstown Community College has helped me get many credits in order to jump-start my education. I feel ready to go into a larger university because I am now used to their college atmosphere that Hagerstown Community College has to bring.
