Sadie - 03/24/2020

It felt like home as soon as I stepped on campus. The people were willing to help me whenever they could and reached out to me immediately. The culture of the school is unbelievable and they care about their students so much. Really a great place to be, especially since they are starting to expand.

Allison - 04/22/2019

Friends University is a small school that has a lot to offer individuals! Even though it's a small school, it allows students to have more one-on-one time with professors and they have more time to be accessible. The small community also give students the opportunity to make friends and connection quickly across campus.

Aubry - 01/01/2019

It is an amazing, home feeling place. I cannot wait to start my career for the next four years there. I think what I love most is how everyone there will help, or attempt to help, with anything you could possibly need. I have no doubts with choosing them over Kansas State University!

Marissa - 11/02/2018

It is a very small school, and allows students and professors to get to know each other inside and out of the classroom. It has a very beautiful campus, very good food, and has many academics on hold for anyone interested in that activity. It is very clean, and feels like a place you can call home.

  4. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Friends University is the first university to offer my major- Zoo Science. Currently, Friends University is still one of only a handful of universities in the nation that offer this Zoo Science major. 8. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

There is a major divide between the atheists/scientists in the zoo science program and the Christians in campus ministries. Despite being a Christian, I often feel alienated by our campus ministries group. Because of this, many of the students seem out of touch with a large section of the population.

I don't really think I can answer that question, I can't think of a single person that wouldn't be welcomed at my school due to the strong Friendly Christians community here which teaches us to love and not to condem.

  11. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Really Friends University is a very nice school. But i would have really liked to know that school is very important. that anyone should take every class important because it reflects on the next school that a person attends. Grades are the most important thing. I went through alot before coming to Friends University. Friends took me in and is doing everything in their power to fullfill my dreams. School is a full time job and anyone that is given the chance to attend a college they should take it with everything and do the best.

  12. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Music and sports are well funded, but the art department is small, delapidated and unaccomodating for exploring art in all of its many forms. Supplies were low, professors were mostly adjunct and underpaid and not available when students need them.
