The campus is absolutely beautiful. It has an amazing theatre program, which is my major. Everyone here is so nice and fun to talk to. Not only that, but everything is in walking distance. THIS is the school for me. The class sizes are small, but it gives you more of an opportunity to connect with your professors.

Old school feel on campus.

Emily - 07/21/2024

The school is great, it looks like Hogwarts in America, it's near the beach, super fun, professors are great. I think the minimum number of students in any class is 6 I think the highest is about 20. Professors are great, the view is great, you're right next to historical Saint Augustine, which is a lot of fun with a lot of stuff to do. 10/10

Many of the students are great, I've become friends with a few people now. The class sizes are fairly small (my biggest was around 21 people), and the teachers get back to you quickly. The events hosted by SGA, Residence Life, and others are fun (Harry Potter Week was amazing!). The food isn't the absolute worst, but it isn't good overall. The best thing is honestly their machine-created pancakes, which is saying something. There is a large variety of food, but the options and flavors could use some work. The campus itself is beautiful, although many of the dorms have a variety of issues. Ponce West (my side of the dorms) has countless issues, and most residents have at least one story of their toilet overflowing and flooding the bathroom. My suitemates and I have at least 3 of those. My dorm ended up with termites, which they have known about for years now. Even with these issues, they send someone over to fix them very quickly! The plumbers and Exterminators are very nice people, too. Whenever there is an issue that requires the police or the fire department, they arrive very quickly and the school works with them to figure out the issues. Security has shown that they do care about the students and staff, and are available in Ponce at all hours of the day and night when needed. There are many class options to choose from, and many amazing professors. We also have various activities and things to do, including the pool, the Ringhaver Student Center, Abare marketplace, and the Sebastion POD. Every college has pros and cons. I would say that the pros outweigh the cons at Flagler College.

Flagler College is located in the heart of Florida's oldest city, Saint Augustine. Flagler College was built in the 1800s by a man named Henry Flagler. He originally built the building as a hotel called Ponce De Leon. Today, the old hotel serves as the dorm rooms for the girls. Our campus has a unique character as well as history that the majority of other colleges do not have. Flagler College is a private college with classes ranging from 15-25 students per class. Our small class sizes allow a more personal relationship with our professors than major universities.

  11. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

No inter-dorm visitation because when it comes time to do projects its hard to meet as a group if there are males. Since boys aren't allowed in girls dorms (vice versa) you have to do all the work during library hours and they aren't always open.
