The amount of space for working, they are aquiring a new building as part of a longterm plan but it didn't help while I was at Kendall.

I dont really think there is anything bad about the school.

Its in BFE aka the middle of no where

I am not seeing anything that is really their fault but I am having troubles finding a job in my field. I am pretty sure that the economy of the country has everything to do with my dilemma.

No campus

The worst thing about Ferris State University is the dorms and the meal plan provided to students who live on campus. The dorms are very outdated and have not been remodeled since the 1970s. The paint is peeling in many and they can be very cold at night due to insufficient heating. The meal plan has very few viable options and the food is often old and stale.

Snow is very bad, the school does not close when the roads are bad. The sidewalks are also very icy. Parking is bad.

The requirement of the ACS standarized test for general chemistry coures. because these exams do not test you what you learned from your class, but from outside sources. Not all chemistry professors have preparations ready to help you with these tests.

HOMEWORK

The worst thing about this school is the their lack of acceptance to those with conservative political views. In certain classes politics is brought up and because there is an overwhelming majority on the liberal side it makes those of us who are conservative very uncomfortable. They usually just assume everyone agrees with them so it's ok to spout off and rant about how bad this current administration is. If there at least a few more professors who took a conservative stance I would be able to tolerate the other side a lot better.
