Going into Ferris State University as a junior was tough. A majority of the students on campus were young. This has been the worst thing about this university. The students were quite naive in their thought process and I don’t really like Ferris was advising them in the right direction. I have been providing for myself for quite some time, I remember when keeping up grades was my only responsibility. Now, I am a full-time student along with a full-time employee. As we grow, we learn that money management and time organization are key factors in success.

The worst thing about this school is the weather! It gets super cold in the winter and classes rarely get canceled because of the weather. The wind is another factor! It’s super windy

The worst thing about Ferris is the cost, but even though it costs so much there are other schools that cost a lot more and have even bigger class sizes.

It is a long way from where I live.
Sid
The cost of tuition and location fo the school.

The worst thing about Ferris State University would be their bus transportation and their meal plan situation. The bus only goes to three local spots on campus. The meal plans are set up so that if you do not want one at all, you have the choice of moving to one specific hall only or into an apartment off campus. It would be more beneficial if the bus went to more places on the campus instead of just those three and letting everyone live wherever they'd like with or without a meal plan.

I think some of the professors I had to deal with made my experience lack in some areas. Some did not seem to care about students academic growth, they were not availble to answer questions and they were not willing to go out of their way by any means. Overall, I liked most of the professors but it is sad that those few bad experience are stuck in my head.

The worst thing about my school is communicati.on among staff and from staff to students.

I go to Kendall college which is a division of Ferris State University, and with the school being in a city, it is difficult to find affordable housing within walking distance. I do not have 600+ to spend on a small apartment that will be shared with three other people. I also find the acceptance rate to be so high that many people are entering into programs without basic knowedlage or skill of what they're supposed to be doing, or how they're doing it.

The worst part about Kendall is that they don’t have that they don’t have cheeper parking or on campus living.
